About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PMHNP to join our mental health care team. A PMHNP who is passionate about providing high-quality care to individuals struggling with mental health issues. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, and the ability to build rapport with patients in a virtual setting.

In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders. Using telecommunication technology, you will conduct remote psychiatric evaluations, prescribe medication, and provide therapy to patients. You will also collaborate with primary care providers, psychologists, and social workers to develop comprehensive treatment plans that address patients' unique needs.

● Conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations and assessments
● Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
● Prescribe and manage medication for patients
● Provide therapy and counseling to individuals and groups
● Collaborate with primary care providers to coordinate care
● Assist in crisis intervention and emergency management
● Evaluate and monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly


  • Current state license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in psychiatric/mental health care

  • Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment modalities

  • Proficiency in using telecommunication technology for virtual patient care

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health disorders across the lifespan

  • Familiarity with evidence-based practice guidelines and clinical standards

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

  • Provide your own collaborating physician

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and schedules

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
